Snow & Ice Management

For us, snow and ice management services are a year round focus.

We are true professionals in this field, with most of our crews having certification and extensive training about the best practices for snow & ice management.

As part of our continuing education and certifications, many in our company carry Certified Snow Professional and Accredited Snow Management credentials. Through SIMA, we have been progressive in keeping up with the ever-changing regulations, newest equipment, and most innovative technology.

Liability is a key factor in this industry so we work with our clients to personalize a program to meet their personal needs, budgets, and level of risk accordingly.

JMC is ready 24/7 to handle whatever weather New England throws at us to keep your business or HOA open, active, or accessible.

We Offer: Monitoring & Tracking

Each reaction and service first needs information and date to support it. To properly dispatch our crews we monitor services, knowing the air and ground temperatures when weather systems are approaching is key to choosing the right attack. This along with onsite cameras we can access 24/7 allows us to stay on top of erratic conditions.

It’s always said, if you don’t like the weather in New England, close your eyes and it will change. Staying connected with monitoring systems and in contact with our clients allows us to provide superior service no matter the distance from our home base.

Anti-icing & Deicing

It takes exponentially more effort to remove heavy snow and ice once it has bounded with your property’s surfaces, but the approach of anti-icing prevents this in anticipation We use both liquid and granular methods, depending on your needs.

Deicing is one of the most important services to help with liability and safety, and our crews are out and available daily for refreeze visits and in the event of a large ice storm. We meet with all salt-usage conservation requirements in order to put together the best options for you.

We utilize & offer:

  • Treated Salt (magnesium and/or calcium beads)
  • Bulk salt delivered to your location
  • Bagged salt & ice melt
  • Bulk sand and salt mix
  • Magnesium chloride
  • Calcium chloride
  • Magic Salt™

Snow Hauling

Sacrificing customer parking for giant snow banks cuts into your customers’ convenience and your business’ profits, shutting snow on large campuses is difficult, and weight on parking decks and garages can cause damage. We offer snow removal services during or post-storm to meet your requests and requirements, whether it be hauling it onsite or offsite to one of our designated snow farms using a combination of plows, pushers, loaders and dump trucks.
However, our services extend beyond just plowing snow, given that your biggest liability and complaint in the event of a storm will arise from how clean your sidewalks are for customers.

We have dedicated sidewalk crews with equipment specifically designed to clear your walkways. A hand shovel is how we all start and finish our detailed clean up, but our sidewalk plows, Snowrators™, rotary brooms, snowblowers, and loaders with drop/broadcast spreaders keep our employees working as safely and efficiently as possible.

While 90% of this specialized equipment is meant for winter weather use alone, our investment into this one season is invaluable to our clients.
